MythTV Hulu, BBC iPlayer and Revision 3 (diggnation) integration – MythVodka

MythVodka (Video On Demand Killer App) plugin for MythTV has ported code from XMBC and uses open source program rtmpdump and get_iplayer to stream content from the BBC, Hulu and Revision 3 directly into MythTV.

    From the MythVodka page:

    “Im out of the UK/US but want to get Hulu/BBC iPlayer content

    What you need is a VPS in the country the content is in, so for beeb get a VPS in UK, for Hulu get a VPS in the US.”

    If I remember correctly, UK internet users can’t view Hulu content, and the same for Americans with BBC iPlayer content.

    How did you go about fixing that?

    MythVodka is looking more and more like the killer app I think MythTV needs.
